The 90s

I started getting my independence in the 90s. Looking back, at this 90s page, it feels like a whole lifetime of achievements in this decade.

  • Finished up high-school.
  • Joined the Marine Corps.
  • Moved far from the house I grew up in.
  • Made my own family.
  • Went to College.
  • Got a career in IT.
  • Bought a house.

I think being a Generation X kid really puts it into a person’s head on how to figure things out. We solved problems on our own. Before AI. Before the Internet was so available. Literally in 1991, the first web server became available. Before that, we dialed into other computers and downloaded text files.

This makes me laugh.

What a wonky year in my life! But I’m trying to not write about any drama that happened. This year I had friends and family visit. There’s some work pictures as the Gulf War was ending and we had a guy just getting back. I visited the Grand Canyon. Then a month later Damien and…
